TRAINING

Over the years we have trained and shown practically every event offered, but have turned our attention to the two areas we love most which are Longe Line and Western Pleasure.  We take a limited number of outside training horses and do all of the training ourselves.  Our training program is not a quick fix, but instead is a steady progression of teaching.  We make them comfortable when they're doing something we want them to do, and uncomfortable when they're doing something we don't want them to do.  They learn to do what we want them to do.  They can make lots of mistakes along the way but are rewarded for trying.  We ask them, not force them and they become our dance partners...happy and confident.

SHOWING

We attend AQHA shows as well as the major NSBA shows throughout the country including the Tom Powers, Reichert Celebration, Southern Belle, NSBA World Championship, All-American Quarter Horse Congress and AQHA World Championship.  We attend APHA and ApHC color breed shows from time to time as well.  We show customer horses plus coach our students at the shows.

LESSONS

  • AT HOME
Our lesson program is individualized on a per person basis to meet your specific goals and budget.  Whether you're just starting out as a novice or are a seasoned show veteran, we can help you go to the next level.  Lessons are customized specifically to you and your horse.  Our long distance students are invited to come and stay for a few days at a time and those living closer can come throughout the week.
  • ONLINE
Thanks to the internet we can now offer our lesson program around the world.  Our online lessons give you the help you need without having to travel to get it.  Take a video of your horse showing the problem you want to focus on, send us the link with a description of the issue and we'll help you with the fix either over the phone, via email or we'll video the fix and show you what to do.
  • ASK ROBIN
This free Q & A section allows you to ask Robin a question about anything from what to wear in the show pen to how to deal with a training issue.
Read the questions and answers online.
